This past weekend, video game designers of all stripes participated in a worldwide game design event where competing teams of up to 5 people designed and implemented a game in 48 hours.
Working with GameCamp Edmonton, GDX, AMPIA, and the Global Game Jam organizers, Edmonton Digital Arts College was host to the Edmonton version of the event. With over 50 contestants, the college was humming with focused effort to complete about 10 projects by the deadline.
Avatar Media was on hand to record the event and interview various participants. We will share their video once they finish rendering the awesome footage!
The winners of Edmonton’s local jam was a team that included one of our animation instructors, Cody Schiebelbein, called Crab Jam.
