EDAC grads work.
EDAC is a great place to go to school, but at some point, our students become graduates and enter the workforce. Our graduates work. Some of our recent graduates have been working even before they finished their programs. Here are just a few stories of some grads and the jobs they have taken since coming to EDAC.
Angela Jeske – Design: Angela completed her Digital Media Production diploma in May, however, prior to her graduation she accepted an internship position with the Government of Alberta as a Design Planner. She works with a team and utilizes her skills as a web interface designer to lead design solutions for a variety of government related projects.
Kelsey Wicentowich – Animation: Kelsey finished her 3D Animation Production diploma in February and has been freelancing until July when she was offered a position at Bioware. She is working as an Assistant Technical Designer on the Bioware Edmonton team!
Alana Banks – Illustration: Alana finished her Digital Illustration & Sequential Art diploma in June and recently was the Art Director for a music video for Lyra Brown’s “A Little Vulture Told Me.” This was a Telus Storyhive project that was launched in July.
This is just a small sample of the types of work our grads are finding. Having a portfolio that gets you the job or project you are hungry for is an important and vital part of your future success. Just ask Alana, Angela or Kelsey.
Just imagine what you could find when you become an EDAC grad. You deserve to work just like our grads do.
